Shelanti Game Reserve (est. 1996) lies in the Waterberg region of the Limpopo province, just north of the small town Marken. Shelanti boasts with the rich habitat diversity unique to this region, which in turn allows us to accommodate a high diversity of birdlife and wildlife, perfect for any wildlife enthusiast. The 20 000ha Reserve, found in the heart of the bushveld where summers are green, and the bush is bursting with young life while the winters offer a stark contrast with dry bush and clear skies, is not much further than 3 hours’ drive from Johannesburg and less than 2 hours from Polokwane.
